Ahmed Mostafa "Zizo", the former Zamalek player, has submitted an official request to the Egyptian Football Association for the grounds of the decision to dismiss his complaint against his former club, in preparation for a new legal escalation in the coming days, as revealed by journalist Khaled El Ghandour.
Al-Ghandour reported via his official Facebook account that Zizo is planning to submit an urgent appeal to the appeals committee to expedite the resolution of his case locally, as a preparatory step before resorting to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) if a final decision is not issued in his favor.
These legal moves come after the Egyptian Football Association's Players Affairs Committee decided to dismiss Zizo's complaint against Zamalek, following a period marked by the exchange of official memos and documents, with each party insisting on the validity of its legal position.
Ahmed Mostafa "Zizo" has turned to the Egyptian Football Association, filing an official complaint demanding his overdue financial dues from Zamalek, which he has not received following the official conclusion of his career with the white team. In response, Zamalek's management has taken legal action through a counter-complaint against their former player, accusing him of unjustified absence and continuous neglect of the first team's training sessions in the weeks leading up to the end of his career within the walls of the White Castle.
