Arsenal, the Premier League champions, has come to an agreement with Club Brugge for the signing of Greek winger Christos Tzolis, in a deal worth approximately €40 million.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, negotiations have significantly accelerated in recent hours after Arsenal agreed to meet the Belgian club's financial demands. Both parties are currently working on finalizing the contracts in preparation for the official announcement of the deal.
The report added that the Tzolis deal is completely separate from Arsenal's moves to sign Morgan Rogers, meaning the London club continues to work on multiple attacking options during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal's interest in Tzolis comes after the standout performances he delivered with Club Brugge last season, where he caught attention with his speed and ability to create chances and score, making him one of the most promising wingers in European football.
The player is expected to undergo medical tests in the coming days before signing a long-term contract with Arsenal and joining manager Mikel Arteta's squad in preparation for the new season.
