German striker Nick Völkmar took advantage of his summer break following his participation in the 2026 World Cup to continue working on his physical fitness, as he underwent an extra training session at the facilities of Werder Bremen, his hometown club.

Werder Bremen announced on its official website that Voltmade trained on pitch number 12 next to the "Weser-Stadion," alongside U19 team player Mika Stroider, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and enjoyment.

According to German reports, these training sessions are aimed at keeping him fit during the summer break and are not linked to any negotiations or indications regarding a return to Werder Bremen. He is expected to return to his club Newcastle United by the end of this month.
