Pyramids FC has officially announced the appointment of South African coach Rolani Mokwena as the new head coach of the first football team, in preparation for the upcoming season.
Mokwena's appointment comes just hours after the club announced the departure of Croatian head coach Krunoslav Jurcic, as the South African manager begins a new challenge with the African champions, in a bid by the management to continue competing for domestic and continental titles.
Mokwena is regarded as one of the most prominent coaches on the African continent, having achieved remarkable success with Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa. He has also had coaching stints in the Moroccan and Algerian leagues before settling at Pyramids.
Pyramids FC hopes Teboho Mokoena will lead the team to further achievements next season. The club aims to strengthen its presence both domestically and in Africa.
