Shakhtar Donetsk is considering the option of hosting its home matches in next season's Champions League in London, due to the ongoing inability to play on home soil because of the current situation in Ukraine.
According to The Athletic, Shakhtar has entered discussions with Chelsea, Fulham, and Brentford to host their European matches at their stadiums during the 2026-2027 season.
Stamford Bridge is considered one of the top options, alongside Craven Cottage and the G Tech Community Stadium, especially since all three clubs will not participate in European competitions this season, giving them flexibility in hosting matches.
Shakhtar has previously hosted its continental matches outside Ukraine in several European countries, such as Poland, Germany, and Slovenia, since being forced to leave its home ground due to the war.
