The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Federation, led by Hani Abu Rida, has approved a comprehensive financial program aimed at supporting popular and fan-based clubs in various governorates of the republic, with a total budget of 70 million EGP. This initiative is designed to enhance competition and develop both youth sectors and clubs.
The program includes a package of financial support, which encompasses assistance for clubs, bonuses for promotion to the Premier League, as well as special prizes for youth and junior competitions.
The Egyptian Football Association has allocated a financial bonus of 5 million Egyptian pounds to any popular club that secures a spot in the Egyptian Premier League, as part of its initiative to motivate clubs to compete and achieve promotion.
In a related context, the association has allocated £10 million in prizes for youth and junior competitions, where for the first time, financial rewards will be given to the first-place winner in each category for players born between 2007 and 2013, totaling six competitions. Additionally, prizes will be awarded to sector champions and national champions across various age groups.
The program includes financial support for 120 fan clubs from provinces and cities participating in the second and third division leagues, with a minimum of 100,000 EGP for third division clubs and 300,000 EGP for second division clubs.
The federation has also revealed the allocation of £1 million to each of the popular clubs participating in the Second Division (A), which includes Ismaily, Mansoura, El Sharkia, Baladiyat El Mahalla, Tanta, Dairout, and Al Nasr. This initiative is part of a plan aimed at enhancing financial stability and supporting the progress of these clubs during the upcoming season.
