Barcelona has announced the squad selected by German coach Hans Flick to participate in the first phase of the pre-season camp in Birmingham, England, in preparation for the start of the 2026-2027 season.


The squad includes 30 players, among them the young Egyptian star Hamza Abdelkarim, who continues to be present with the first team during the preparation period, reflecting the coaching staff's confidence in his abilities, after joining the Catalan club during the last winter transfer window.


The team will depart for St. George's Park in Birmingham, where the camp will continue until August 3, including two friendly matches against Birmingham City on July 31 and Preston North End on August 3.


The squad announcement saw the inclusion of new signing Karim Adeyemi, while Anthony Gordon was absent. Marc-André ter Stegen was called up despite doubts about his future with the team, and Frenkie de Jong was also included despite his injury.
