Al Ahly's management has finalized a significant part of its negotiations with Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, reaching an agreement for the transfer of Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão during the current summer transfer window.

According to Portuguese newspaper "A Bola," the deal is valued at around €45 million, while some terms related to the player's personal contract are still under discussion before the official announcement.

Trincão, 26, is expected to make his final decision in the coming hours, with plans to sign a four-year contract with Al Ahly if all procedures are completed.

The Portuguese player has an impressive record in European football, having played for Sporting Braga, then moving to Barcelona, and experiencing a stint with Wolverhampton Wanderers before returning to Sporting Lisbon.

This move is part of Al Ahly's strategy to rebuild the team technically, following the recent departures of several key stars, prompting management to act quickly to strengthen the attacking line with distinguished players.

The club's management aims to finalize all remaining details as soon as possible, preparing for the official announcement of the deal, making Francisco Trincão one of Al Ahly's standout signings ahead of the new season.
