Bayern Munich's young player Leniart Karl has taken a significant step towards his return to the pitch, participating in ball training for the first time since his injury during the team's training session on Tuesday.
Karla, 18 years old, participated in training alongside teammate Serge Gnabry, who celebrated his 31st birthday, as the German international continues his rehabilitation program to recover from a hamstring tear sustained last April.
Serge Gnabry has been training individually since the end of June with the aim of returning to team training with Bayern. Meanwhile, Karl only returned to running last week after suffering a hamstring tear, an injury that kept him out of the North American World Cup.
Bayern Munich continues to monitor the recovery progress of the duo, with hopes of their gradual return to match readiness in the upcoming period.
