AS Roma has set early next week as the deadline for West Ham United to respond to their offer for Dutch winger Crescensio Summerville. Meanwhile, the English club is holding firm on their asking price of €50 million to complete the deal.
Journalist Matteo Moretto has indicated that Roma is awaiting West Ham's response between Monday and Tuesday after submitting an official bid for the player. Several Italian media outlets have confirmed that the value of the offer has exceeded €40 million.
According to "Tutto Mercato", the bid has reached €46 million, while Morito clarified that its value ranges between €44 and €45 million.
Samarville has not yet reached an agreement with Roma regarding personal terms, but he is open to joining the Giallorossi this summer. Therefore, contract details or salary are not expected to pose a hurdle for the deal.
West Ham's position remains the decisive factor, as Roma awaits an official response in the coming days, while the English club continues to stand by its financial demands.
West Ham was relegated to the EFL Championship in the 2025/2026 season, while Roma qualified for the Champions League after finishing last season in third place in Serie A.
