Roma has begun its efforts to sign Dutch winger Cresencio Summerville from West Ham United, following a meeting with the player's agents in the Italian capital to discuss the possibility of completing the transfer.
According to "Football Italia," citing transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the meeting lasted about an hour, during which Roma confirmed its interest in signing the player.
The source added that the Italian club has conditioned that the transfer value should not exceed €40 million, with a salary cap for Samerville set at €4 million per season.
The report indicated that Samerville is also attracting interest from some Premier League clubs, but negotiations with them have not yet reached advanced stages.
Roma is awaiting a response from the player's agents and West Ham's management in the coming hours, preparing to take the next step in negotiations.
