Mustafa Zizo, father and agent of Al Ahly star Ahmed Mustafa Zizo, has put to rest the speculation surrounding his son's future at the club. In exclusive comments to the "Stadium Al-Mahwar" program, he denied any communication from the club's management regarding a pay cut for the player or an agreement for a loan move.
Mostafa Zizo stated: "Al Ahly has not contacted the player to reduce his contract or loan him out for the new season, and the direction within Al Ahly is primarily to keep the player in the squad."
He added: "All talk about reducing his contract or Al Ahly's desire to loan the player is completely unfounded and has not happened at all."
Zizou has secured a visa for Spain in order to travel with the team for the training camp. He is focusing heavily on delivering his best performance during the upcoming season.
