The future of Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez is starting to take shape, as he has received his first offer to leave Al Hilal. Meanwhile, Barcelona continues to monitor his status as part of their attacking options.

According to "Sport" newspaper, Núñez has agreed with Al Hilal to look for a new club after struggling to adapt to the Saudi league. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is managing the process of his departure.

The newspaper added that Al Hilal does not intend to terminate the player's contract, which was signed for €55 million last summer. His name has also been offered to Barcelona, but the Catalan club has yet to take any action.

The Athletic has confirmed that Atalanta United has reached out to Al Hilal to discuss the possibility of signing Nunez on loan with an option to buy, taking advantage of the impending departure of their star player, Emmanuel Lati.

Despite the progress in negotiations, Nunez prefers to wait, as he places a move to Europe at the top of his priorities. Barcelona remains a favored destination for him, although it is not currently a priority for the club.

Barcelona continues to explore offensive alternatives, according to "Sport", in anticipation of a potential setback in the Julian Alvarez deal. Darwin Nunez remains a name on the list of options for the sporting management.
