Media personality Karim Ramzy reported that Zamalek's management is striving to bolster their first-team squad with new signings during the current summer transfer window, despite the disciplinary registration ban imposed on them by FIFA.

Hesham Nasr, Zamalek's vice president, confirmed that the club has resolved all its issues and is nearing the acquisition of the African license.

He added: "This is not the new part, but the new part is that just as Zamalek succeeded in hiring a new coach, they hope to make strong signings before the new season in a surprise, even though they are penalized with a transfer ban for two periods."

Kareem Ramzy reported: "Zamalek sees that there is hope to lift the disciplinary transfer ban, and that there is an appeal and assurances that the ban could be lifted. They are hopeful that the ban will be lifted and new signings can be made this summer."
