FIFA has entrusted the management of the match between Al Ahly, the Asian champion, and New Zealand's Auckland City to an Egyptian officiating crew, led by international referee Amin Omar.
The match will be held at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah on August 26, as part of the Intercontinental Cup, with significant ambitions from Ahlawi to continue their journey towards the title.
