The deal for Argentine Julian Alvarez remains unresolved, as negotiations between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have stalled due to disagreements over the financial terms required to complete the transfer.
According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Barcelona has made a final offer of €100 million, while Atlético Madrid is asking for €120 million, in addition to including a key player in the deal, which the Catalan club has rejected.
The report indicates that Barcelona has begun to prepare an alternative plan that includes several forwards, led by Victor Osimhen, Serhou Guirassy, and Dusan Vlahovic, while remaining tight-lipped about the closest option within the club.
The newspaper added that Lautaro Martínez remains among the names being considered, but his contractual situation makes completing the deal difficult. Meanwhile, the chances of signing João Pedro have diminished in recent times.
Borussia Dortmund continues to hold firm on retaining Serhou Guirassy, despite his name being linked with Barcelona. The German club is also exploring potential alternatives in case of his departure.
The report confirms that Harry Kane is settled at Bayern Munich and believes his salary is difficult for any other club to bear. Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic is not considered the preferred option for Barcelona, despite previous links to the club.
